Brief Biography:

Professor Dziedzorm R. Asafo is a Ghanaian. He received his education in the USA and Europe where he obtained his terminal degree (PhD), Sociology of Religion, from Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden in 1999. He returned to Ghana since then and joined the faculty work force at Valley View University, Oyibi, Accra as a lecturer. He has held several administrative positions in that University, including the Vice President for Student Administration, Vice President for Adult and Distance Education, and Vice President for General Administration, and second in command to the President of the University. This last position he held from July 2005 to December 2010. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor. He is married with three children. Currently he is on one year (February 2011-January 2012) Sabbatical leave at Regent-Ghana as a lecturer.
