Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences

The President of Regent University College of Science and Technology, Rev. Prof. E. Kingsley Kwabena Larbi, on 6th April 2005, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a Master of Electrical Engineering programme with the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences (DUAS), one of Germany’s leading applied science universities. The signing of the agreement took place in the German Bavarian city of Deggendorf, the site of the University.

The Master of Electrical Engineering (M.Eng) programme, with concentrations in Technical Computer Science and Micro and Optoelectronics is the first Masters level programme in Computer Science ever to be launched in Ghana. Students admitted into the programme have rare opportunity to do two semesters in Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences to concentrate on the aspects of the programme, which require special software and laboratory equipment.
