Regent University College of Science and Technology (RUCST) is a Ghanaian private institution of higher learning with global perspectives, established to serve God by investing in people to impact the larger community. Founded in 2003, the university is committed to high quality programmes and responsive to a rapidly changing global environment. Recognizing its particular responsibility toward the African continent, Regent-Ghana seeks to be one of the leading private universities on the continent, providing well-rounded educational opportunities, especially in the areas of science and technology through high quality ICT-driven teaching, learning and research. Our community engagement is inspired by the words of the first Principal of Achimota College, Rev. A. G. Fraser, who said ‘A good school will make a good village.

When I see the village full of flies and the people going to far away places to fetch muddy water then I know that school is not doing its work’ (in A Visual History of Ghana). In this understanding, Regent-Ghana cultivates a particular interest in the holistic development of our nation, and the nations from which our students, faculty, and staff would come from.

Regent-Ghana is an academic community that strives to live by the ethical foundations of the evangelical Christian tradition. We seek to develop human potential by discovering, expanding, adapting, and advancing knowledge and to extend its expertise to industries, commercial and educational institutions and government. It takes pride in providing quality educational programmes and facilities that incorporate the fast growing digital technologies to prepare students, faculty, and staff, to reach their optimum potential in order to meet the rapidly changing needs in a competitive global environment.
