Prof Kingsley Larbi, the founding president of Central University College, has successfully pioneered two private universities against the background of very difficult conditions. He is the pioneer theological scholar within the Pentecostal-charismatic movement in Ghana. His classic book, Pentecostalism: The Eddies of Ghanaian Christianity is the first and so far the leading work on the Pentecostal-charismatic movement in Ghana.
He has very rich working experience. His job experience include: Office Manager with the British Civil Engineering Construction Company on the White Volta and Black Volta Bridges; as Assistant Accounts Manager, Coastal Services Nigeria Limited, Lagos, Nigeria; he served as the principal of the Central Christian College, Ghana from 1996 to 1998. Prof. Larbi served as the chairman of the Code of conduct Sub-committee of the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) which produced the Code of Conduct for the political parties towards the 2000 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
He also serves as the Executive Director of the Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies, a research, documentation and educational resource centre. His strong desire here is three-fold:
