REOPENING DATE OF THE 3RD TRIMESTER FOR ALL WEEKEND SCHOOLS RESCHEDULED

You are hereby notified that the 3rd trimester of the academic calendar for all weekend students (Levels 100, 200, 300 & Post Dip) begins on the 18th of July 2008 and ends on the
22nd November 2008. All previous reopening dates have therefore been cancelled.

The idea is to streamline the two weekend schools into one session. So please take note of these dates and comply.

Subsequently, the academic calendar is as follows:
Registration Period                  14th – 26th July 2008
Lectures Begin                         18th July 2008
Mid-Trimester Exams              13th & 20th September 2008
Parliamentary/Societal Week   TO BE FIXED
Regent Float                            TO BE FIXED
Lectures End                                  7th November 2008
End of 3rd Trimester of Exams 15th & 22nd November 2008
Trimester Holidays Begins              22nd November 2008

Note: Two weeks have been added to the trimester to cater for Parliamentary Week and any other unforeseen programmes.

Lecture time tables will be out before the 11th of July 2008.

REOPENING DATE OF THE 2ND  SEMESTER FOR JANUARY  SCHOOL

You are hereby notified that the 2nd semester of the academic calendar for all students in the January School begins on the
4th of August 2008 with registration and ends on the
28th of November 2009.

Subsequently, the academic calendar is as follows:

Registration Period                  4th – 25th August 2008
Lectures Begin Fully               11th August 2008
Mid-Semester Exams               29th Sep. – 3rd Oct. 2008
Parliamentary/Societal Week   TO BE FIXED
Regent Float                            TO BE FIXED
Lectures End                                  10th November 2008
End of 2nd Semester of Exams 17th & 28th November 2008
2nd Semester Holidays Begins  28th November, 2008
