Fines & Charges

Library Charges 2008/2009

| SHORT | Fine for late return: GH¢1.00 per item per hour for Short Loan collection, 20p per hour for other Overnight items |
| 3 DAYS | Fine for late return: GH¢1.00 per item per day |
| WEEK | Fine for late return: 20p per item per day |
| LONG | Fine for late return: 20p per item per day. |
| RECALLED LONG LOAN | Fine for late return of a book recalled by another user: GH¢1.00 per item per day
Please note: ALL long loans, whether borrowed during term or vacation are subject to recall. Such items must be returned to the Library earlier than the original due date, if required by another user. Users are informed of recalls and revised due dates by email. |
Unpaid fines of GH¢5 or more and/or non-return of overdue items will result in the withdrawal of borrowing facilities. If an invoice has to be prepared for unpaid fines, a handling charge of GH¢5 is applied.
Fines can be paid by cash or cheque at the Trinity Section of RGL.
