Regent University Seals Partnership with MSM

Regent university is still making strides in designing and packaging excellent cutting-edge quality education with the necessary component to train transformational leaders who will contribute to the transformation of Africa from its present state of need to a state of economic independence.

Regent-Ghana partners with institutions of high repute to achieve its aim of excellence. It is in this regard that the University has entered into partnership with Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands for a prestigious MBA accredited by the association of MBAs.

Amy Wang (Mrs.), the Director of Outreach Programmes for MSM, visited Ghana between the12th and the 14th of December and signed the partnership document. The agreement allows Regent-Ghana to run the MSM outreach MBA programme certified by MSM. The faculty of the Regent-MSM AMBA accredited MBA is internationally composed. Another attraction of the programme is that participants will undertake a two week industrial attachment programme in the Netherlands.

There was a public event on the eve of 13th where Amy Wang made a presentation on the MSM MBA outreach programme. Professor Kinsley Larbi also gave an exposition on the passion that drives Regent-Ghana. He said that Africa cannot have all the natural resources at its disposal and continue to harbour the poorest in the world. The Regent-Ghana vision is therefore to provide the education needed to transform the continent.

Other highlights of the evening were MSM Alumni meeting with Amy Wang on the formation of an alumni body in Ghana and a cocktail reception in her honour.

Dr. Kwabena Darko, the Chancellor of Regent-Ghana and an astute businessman, Apostle Badu Wood, a member of the Council of Regent-Ghana and the General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal Council and Mr. Akuffo Asare, the MD of HFC Bank, graced the occasion with their presence. There were other dignitaries from financial and ICT institutions in Ghana.

We say “long live the Regent-Ghana MBA programme”.
