
Adu Anane Antwi is the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Until his appointment, he managed his private firm of financial consultants and investment lawyers and was also a partner in a firm of chartered accountants. He worked as the Director of corporate finance and investment management at SEC from 1999 to 2003 and as the director of fund management and investment at the National Health Insurance Authority from 2005 to 2006. He had also previously worked at the Ghana National procurement Agency (GNPA Ltd) from 1981 to 1999 where he held various positions.
He served as an adjunct lecturer from 1993 at various institutions, including the Ghana Law School, the Central University College, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the National Banking College. He has also served as an instructor for the Ghana Stock Exchange securities courses and as a resource person for the West African Institute for Economic and Financial Management, Nigeria. He has several publications on finance and corporate governance to his credit.
