The Regent Ghana Students Union (RGSU) represents all students within the University’s governance structure and does campaign on issues relating to students. One of its most important roles is to provide a wide range of services to students, including an effective and confidential welfare service; its Welfare Department offer help on legal, financial, academic and personal matters.
- All students of the University College are automatically members of Regent-Ghana Students Union (RGSU).
- RGSU runs various societies that give students the opportunity to join with others who share their interests. It keeps up-to-date information on the various societies for National Student Groups.
- The Dean of Societies, Chaplain and Society Wardens offer help and advice on financial, academic and personal matters to the RGSU.
- Every student of the University College pays an annual membership fee (subscription) which is determined annually by the Students’ Parliament to the RGSU.
Regent Ghana Students’ Parliament (RGSP):
The Regent Ghana Students’ Parliament (RGSP) is the governing body of the RGSU. Its equivalent is the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) in other Universities in Ghana.
