Chaplaincy

Welcome. The Chaplaincy Centre exists to support all students and staff, and to provide friendship, care and spiritual guidance. The chaplaincy centre is open from 8.30am to 1.30pm and 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm, Monday to Friday in term time. A meeting room for prayer, worship, and quiet reflection will be available to all members of the University. There is also a small kitchen area, with tea and coffee is available. Services are held on campus weekly. There is a special Community Service once every month. 

Chaplaincy offers:
1.support to students & staff of any faith or none
2.pastoral care and counseling in times of need or crisis
3.information on local places of worship, prayer and reflection
4.help with issues of faith and lifestyle
5.the chance to chat informally with a chaplain or counselor about any matter that concerns or interests you
a programme of weekly and monthly events spiritual guidance and opportunities for spiritual development through prayer, discussion, lectures and worship

It's not necessary but convenient to have an appointment to see a Chaplain; you can pop in any time during opening hours: 9.30am to 1.00pm during term time. Special appointments can be made during the university vacations.
